Re: Like to make some changes to GtkTextView and GtkTextBuffer->get_text() doc page (attachment included this time)

Ben Stones-5
(Sorry, initial e-mail sent had no attachment to it)
Hi,

I looked at the documentation on the GtkTextView class and the method
get_text() which is part of the GtkTextBuffer class, and I'd like to make
some small additions to the descriptions of each that I am sure will help
some folks reading those pages. I hope to make additional changes to other
parts of the documentation to help improve the PHP-GTK documentation as I am
aware that it is still a working progress for the PHP-GTK community.

The changes I have made is added a description to the GtkTextView page
adding an explanation about how to get the text contents of a GtkTextView in
PHP-GTK. Additionally, I have added a paragraph of text to the end of the
description of the get_text() method of the GtkTextBuffer class stating that
if you want to get the full text stored in a GtkTextBuffer, you need to use
the get_start_iter() and get_end_iter() methods, respectively.

These changes can be seen in the file attached to the e-mail. Could those
involved with the updating and upkeep of the PHP-GTK documentation kindly
commit these changes to the SVN as I'm sure these additions will help.

Thanks a lot,
Ben Stones.
